Pull Up Banners

Examples of work we've printed. We send a digital proof of your artwork before anything goes to press.

Pull Up Banners

Up in seconds, packed away in seconds, and it fits in a car boot.

Printed on blockout PVC, retracting into an aluminium base, with a carry bag included. Three heights, in silver or black.

The workhorse of event signage: no tools, no assembly, and the same banner comes back out at the next event.

Timing is confirmed with your quote - tell us your date and we'll say straight away whether it's achievable. Collect from Fyshwick, or we ship anywhere in Australia.

Size

Width is 850mm on all three. The measurement is the visual area of the print.

Base colour
Components

The base and mechanism outlast the artwork. When the message changes, replace the print.

Quantity

Quoted to your spec, quantity and deadline.

Artwork requirements

Large format is read from metres away, so it needs far less resolution than print does - but it is less forgiving about scale and bleed.

  • Print-ready PDF with no trim, crop or registration marks on it
  • Set up at 100% scale full size, not scaled down. We'll send you the right artwork template for your chosen specs once the quote is approved
  • Vector art if you have it it scales to any size and the edges stay sharp. A photo or a flattened logo can't
  • Bitmap images at 130 dpi or higher at full size large format is read from metres away, so it needs far less than a business card
  • Fonts converted to outlines as paths or curves, so nothing substitutes on our end
  • Every image and element embedded anything linked rather than embedded arrives missing
  • CMYK, not RGB and if brand colour is critical, send Pantone references from the PANTONE+ Solid Coated library

We'll send you the template

Once you've chosen your specs and approved the quote, our team sends the correct artwork template for exactly that product and size, with the bleed and safe area already marked. Nothing to hunt for, and no guessing which one applies.

Not sure? Send what you have. Our in-house design team checks every file before it goes to press and we'll tell you if something needs fixing before it costs you a reprint. Artwork preparation is quoted separately, and you'll never get a surprise line item.

Common questions

What sizes do they come in?

850mm wide, in three heights: 2000mm and 1500mm visual area, plus a 1400mm total height version that meets the requirements most shopping centres set for display height. If you are booking a centre activation, check which they need before you order.

What is it printed on?

A blockout PVC, which means light does not pass through it and whatever is behind the banner does not show. It is tear-resistant and prints in full colour with UV-resistant inks. Blockout is what stops a banner looking washed out with a window behind it.

Can I replace just the print later?

Yes, and it is usually the right call. The base and the mechanism outlast the artwork, so when a message changes or a sponsor comes on you replace the printed panel rather than the whole unit. Tell us the size and we will quote the print on its own.

How long do they take?

We confirm the lead time with your quote rather than publishing one, because it moves a lot with the material, the size and the finishing. Tell us the date you are working to and we will tell you straight away whether it is achievable - plenty of signage moves faster than people expect.

Anything else

Something outside the standard spec?

The standard spec covers most jobs. Where it gets interesting is everything that isn't on this page.

  • Matching something you already have

Send us a sample. We'll match the stock, the finish and the trim so a reprint sits alongside what you have rather than beside it.

  • A stock or finish that isn't listed

Heavier boards, textured and uncoated stocks, laminates, soft-touch. Tell us what you're after and we'll tell you what's achievable and what it changes.

  • A non-standard size or shape

Square, slimline, rounded corners, die-cut. All possible, and all worth quoting properly rather than guessing at.

Tell us the date. We'll tell you how it's possible.

Most quotes come back the same business day. Give us quantity, branding and deadline, and we can usually map out a way to get there.
