ACP Signs
Rigid aluminium composite, for signage that stays up.
Two thin aluminium skins bonded to a polyethylene core. Rigid, flat and weather-resistant, which is why it is the default for permanent outdoor signage.
Available in standard sizes up to 2400 x 1200mm, or cut to your dimensions, with reflective and anti-graffiti options.
Timing is confirmed with your quote - tell us your date and we'll say straight away whether it's achievable. Collect from Fyshwick, or we ship anywhere in Australia.
Prismatic is the premium reflective grade; economy is engineer grade.
Laminates are rated 4 to 5 years. Anti-graffiti lets paint be cleaned off without damaging the print.
6mm diameter. Worth deciding before we print, so nothing important sits where a hole lands.
Standard is square or rectangular. Custom covers circles, rounded corners and irregular shapes.

Artwork requirements
Large format is read from metres away, so it needs far less resolution than print does - but it is less forgiving about scale and bleed.
- Print-ready PDF with no trim, crop or registration marks on it
- Set up at 100% scale full size, not scaled down. We'll send you the right artwork template for your chosen specs once the quote is approved
- Vector art if you have it it scales to any size and the edges stay sharp. A photo or a flattened logo can't
- Bitmap images at 130 dpi or higher at full size large format is read from metres away, so it needs far less than a business card
- Fonts converted to outlines as paths or curves, so nothing substitutes on our end
- Every image and element embedded anything linked rather than embedded arrives missing
- CMYK, not RGB and if brand colour is critical, send Pantone references from the PANTONE+ Solid Coated library

Once you've chosen your specs and approved the quote, our team sends the correct artwork template for exactly that product and size, with the bleed and safe area already marked. Nothing to hunt for, and no guessing which one applies.

Common questions
How is this different from corflute?
Corflute is a temporary product: hollow plastic, light, and priced to be replaced. ACP is rigid aluminium composite, and it stays flat, stays up and lasts years rather than months. If the sign is permanent, this is the one.
What are the reflective options?
Reflective vinyl in white or yellow, in two grades. Brilliant Grade is the premium reflective material used where a sign has to be read clearly by headlights. Engineer Grade is the lower-reflectivity option. Which one you need is usually set by the standard the sign is being installed under, so tell us what it is for.
What is anti-graffiti lamination?
A laminate that lets paint be cleaned off the sign face without damaging the print underneath. Worth it anywhere a sign is unattended and reachable.
Can you pre-drill mounting holes?
Yes, and it is worth deciding before we print. Options run from two holes in the top corners through to holes every 500mm along the edges. Tell us how it is being fixed and we will set the holes to suit.
How long do they take?
We confirm the lead time with your quote rather than publishing one, because it moves a lot with the material, the size and the finishing. Tell us the date you are working to and we will tell you straight away whether it is achievable - plenty of signage moves faster than people expect.
