Flyers

Examples of work we've printed. We send a digital proof of your artwork before anything goes to press.

Flyers

Versatile, effective, and built to get your message seen.

Printed in full colour in five standard sizes, single or double sided, on uncoated, matte, gloss or synthetic stock.

The stock is the decision that matters most. It decides whether you can write on it, whether it survives being outside, and whether the flyer feels like a handout or something worth keeping.

Stock

Synthetic is waterproof and antibacterial. Uncoated takes a pen or a stamp; matte and gloss won't. There's a guide to all of them further down this page.

Weight

Uncoated runs 100, 250 or 350gsm. No coating at all, so it takes a pen or a stamp.

Size

A6 105 x 148mm · DL 99 x 210mm · A5 148 x 210mm · A4 210 x 297mm · A3 297 x 420mm.

Choosing a stock

Which stock, and why it matters

Four stocks, and the choice matters more than the weight. What changes is how the flyer feels, whether you can write on it, and whether it survives being outside.

  • Uncoated

No coating at all. 100, 250 or 350gsm.

SuitsAnything with a form, a voucher, a booking or a tear-off on it.

  • Matte

Coated, low sheen. 128 to 250gsm.

SuitsText-heavy flyers, price lists, anything read at length.

  • Gloss

    Coated, with a sheen. 128 to 250gsm.

SuitsImage-led work where the photography is doing the selling.

  • Synthetic

    Waterproof and antibacterial. 190, 261 or 368gsm.

SuitsOutdoor drops, wet weather, site notices - anything paper wouldn't survive.

Every stock above runs to the same turnaround, so a heavier or tougher one never costs you time. Within a stock, the weight changes how substantial it feels rather than how it prints. Still deciding? Tell us what it's for and where it's going and we'll say which way to go.

  • Keep important content 5mm inside the trim so nothing critical gets cut
  • Send Pantone references if brand colour is critical, and we'll get as close as CMYK allows

Start from our template

Print-ready PDFs set up at the right size with the bleed, trim and safe area already marked. Open one in Illustrator, InDesign or Affinity, drop your design in, and export.

Not sure? Send what you have. Our in-house design team checks every file before it goes to press and we'll tell you if something needs fixing before it costs you a reprint. Artwork preparation is quoted separately, and you'll never get a surprise line item.

Common questions

What sizes do flyers come in?

A6 (105 x 148mm), DL (99 x 210mm), A5 (148 x 210mm), A4 (210 x 297mm) and A3 (297 x 420mm). If you need a size outside those, tell us the finished size and we'll quote it.

Which stock weight should I choose?

Pick the stock first, because it sets which weights exist. Uncoated runs 100, 250 or 350gsm and is the one you can write on. Matte and gloss run 128, 148, 170 or 250gsm - 128 is the lightest, similar in hand to a magazine page, and 250 is card rather than paper. Synthetic runs 190, 261 or 368gsm and is waterproof and antibacterial. Every stock runs to the same turnaround, so a heavier or tougher one never costs you time.

Can you fold them?

Not as a flyer. A flyer is a flat sheet, and anything with a fold in it is a brochure - it's laid out differently from the start, so folding a flat design afterwards isn't the same job. See our brochures at /print/brochures.

Which stock should I choose?

Uncoated has no coating at all, so it takes a pen or a stamp - that matters if the flyer carries a form, a voucher or a booking. Matte is easier to read under lights. Gloss lifts photography and colour. Neither matte nor gloss holds biro reliably. Synthetic is waterproof and antibacterial, so it is the one for outdoor drops, wet weather or anything paper would not survive.

What file do you need?

Print-ready PDF with 3mm bleed, fonts outlined or embedded, CMYK, 300 dpi minimum. There are downloadable templates for every size further down this page. If you're not sure, send what you have.

How long do flyers take?

Priority is 3–5 business days and standard is 5–7, both from artwork approval. Those are typical rather than a ceiling, and we confirm the date before you commit. If you are working to a deadline, tell us early and we will tell you straight away whether it is achievable.

Anything else

Something outside the standard spec?

The five sizes above cover most jobs. Where it gets interesting is everything that isn't on this page.

  • Something that folds

A flyer is a flat sheet. Anything with a fold in it is a brochure, and it's laid out differently from the start, so it's worth asking for it as one. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll quote it as a brochure.

  • A stock that isn't listed

The stocks above are what we run as standard. Recycled, textured and heavier boards are all possible - tell us what you're after and we'll tell you what it changes.

  • A size that isn't listed

Square, long DL, oversized. If it can be trimmed from a press sheet we can run it. Tell us the finished size.

Tell us the date. We'll tell you how it's possible.

Most quotes come back the same business day. Give us quantity, branding and deadline, and we can usually map out a way to get there.
