How we decorate tops & knitwear
Embroidery, which is what nearly all of it is ordered for and what suits a knit · Print only where there is a flat woven panel to take it. A fine gauge and an open knit both want the right backing behind the stitch, and a waterfall or wrap front has no flat chest to work on - tell us the style and we'll say before you order, not after.
How long it usually takes
Every one of these starts from artwork approval, not from when the order is placed.
These are typical rather than a ceiling, and every date is confirmed before you commit. Plenty of jobs move faster. If you are working to a deadline, tell us early and we'll tell you straight away whether it's achievable.
Need a handful of shirts quicker than that? Our sister brand, Tiddys, can complete orders in as little as three days when needed, with no minimum order quantities.

A note on setup
Most decorated orders carry some setup - preparing artwork for production, digitising a logo for embroidery, or getting a machine ready for a particular job. It's usually a one-off: once your artwork is prepared and on file, repeat orders reuse it.
Where setup applies, it's itemised on your quote before you commit to anything. You won't find it as a surprise on an invoice.

Common questions
Can you embroider a knit?
Yes, and the gauge matters more than the fibre. A knit moves under the needle in a way a woven doesn't, so an open or very fine knit needs the right backing behind the stitch to hold its shape. Send the style and we'll tell you what it takes.
Why isn't a cardigan under Hoodies & Crews?
Because a merino cardigan and a fleece hoodie are different garments bought for different reasons, and putting them on one page means neither is easy to find. Knit cardigans and pullovers are here; the fleece, the hoods and the full-zip hoodies are under Hoodies & Crews, and anything with a quarter or half zip is under Quarter Zips.
